Janis Sanders 'Magnificent View' 30x30 Oil on panel

Painting strictly in palette knife and often en plein air, Janis Sanders paints vigorously, muscularly and enthusiastically while working to capture the spirit and essence of his coastal landscapes. His ethereal, joyful and expressive paintings can be seen in our Featured Artist section of the gallery through the month of September.

Janis's painting of a Vermont barn was recently juried into the Stamford Art Association's 30th annual Faber Birren Color Show. This show was juried by Samantha Rippner, Associate Curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
