"I believe in art that inspires the spirit while engaging the mind."
S T A T E M E N T :
Quickly glimpsed moments often become the ones that we remember the longest. By triggering our visual memories, they remind us of places we've been and people we've known. Although details and features blur, the essence of the moment remains and re-emerges with sudden clarity bringing the past to life again. I find magic in these fleeting moments, their transition from what we see into what we remember, and the way they linger and dwell within us.

My paintings are collected across the USA and in Canada, Great Britain, Italy, France, and Russia. I’ve been awarded the honorary distinctions of Master Pastelist by the Pastel Society of America, full Artist status by the Copley Society, Boston and I’m listed in ‘Who's Who in American Art’. I’ve held residencies at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts, the Vermont Studio Colony, I Park in Connecticut, the Atlin Center in British Columbia and Acadia National Park. My work has been published in ‘The Best of Pastel 2’ (Gail E Robinson) and ‘L'Art du Pastel’. I live in Kittery, Maine.
